Become A Member

If you would like to become a member of the Auckland Polish Association, you can apply for one of the membership types listed below.

Ordinary Member
You can apply for this membership if you meet the following criteria:
– you are 18 years or older
– you are of Polish descent, or the spouse or partner of a person of Polish descent
– you are living in New Zealand
As an Ordinary Member, you are eligible to participate in all Association activities and have full voting rights at General Meetings.

Supporting Member
You can apply for this membership if you wish to support and contribute to the Association but are not otherwise eligible for membership. Supporting Members do not have voting rights.

You will need two current members of the association to support your application. If you do not yet know anyone, please attend one of our events at the “Dom Polski” (Polish House) listed on our Home site and advertised on Facebook page (link). We will be happy to meet you in person before you apply.

After submission, your application will be reviewed at the next Executive Committee meeting (typically held monthly).

Membership Fees:
Current annual membership fees are:
– Full Membership – $30
– Senior citizens (65+), beneficiaries, and students – $15


Our internet banking account is 12-3011-0758662-00. When making payment, please enter “New” in the code field and your surname plus initial in the reference field. You may wait until your application has been approved before paying the fee. If you pay in advance and your application for Ordinary Membership is not approved, you will be enrolled as a Supporting Member. Our financial year runs from 1 April to 31 March, and renewal notices/invoices are issued each March.
