The legacy of Bolesław Augustis, a significant Polish documentary photographer whose life and work uniquely connect Poland and New Zealand, represents an exceptional and culturally valuable narrative. His rediscovered archives documenting both pre-war Białystok and the post-war Polish diaspora in Auckland offer rare historical and artistic insight that we consider vital to share with our audiences.
